Friends of Nepal – Australia Inc recently fundraised to provide for 40 metal beds at Bhagwati Primary School in Sanga, Kavre in Nepal. The kids were forced to sleep on few centimetres thick foam mattress on concrete floor. We have been able to alleviate this problem to some extent with the generous donation from our friends who regularly attend our events. Many thanks to all of you.
The school shelters street kids. The kids get free education, shelter and food. It needs more help to provide an environment for kids to flourish. The teachers’ salary is bourne by the Government of Nepal but they really need few more helping hands to keep things ticking. We are just happy to be able to play a small part with your help.
